SKLDoc is the online recorded-document retrieval service from SKLD Information Services.
.
Most pages will have a "Help" tab with information pertaining to that particular page's functions.
Regular documents recorded with the counties can be viewed on the Document Search page.
To search for a document you must select a county, and enter a reception number or a book/page. There is also an optional Reference field.
Reception numbers can be entered into the Reception Number field in several formats for ease of finding the document you are looking for.
Acceptable formats for the Reception Number field are:
More information on reception number ranges and exceptions can be found here.
A Reference is information you assign that will be attached to a document pull. This is for your reference only, must be entered before the search for the document, and does not affect the search for the document.
This information is limited to 20 characters and will be truncated if it is longer.
The only special characters that are allowed are - and _, and all others will be stripped out.
All docs that were successfully pulled will appear in the history for 30 days after the pull date unless the history is manually cleared by clicking the "Clear Recently Viewed Docs List" button. Docs are listed from most recently pulled to the oldest.
You can view a doc from history again by clicking the descriptive link for the doc you want.
The entire history list can be cleared by clicking the "Clear Document List" button at the bottom of the list.
From the history list you can select the docs you wish to email to yourself by using the checkboxes next to the doc or select them all by using the "Select All" checkbox. Then click the "Email to Myself" button to send the email.
A few things to note: each doc will be attached in the email as a separate PDF.
Batch requests can be made on the Batch Documents page.
A batch document request lets you retrieve documents as a group instead of one at a time. The system processes batches at a lower priority in the background, but should be ready within an hour. Please let us know if you experience a longer delay, or any other difficulty with a batch request. Batches are limited to 25 doucments per batch.
Each document in a batch will require the same information as a single document request on the Documents page.

Maps recorded with the counties can be viewed on the Map Search page.
You can begin a map search by selecting a county from the drop-down. Once a county is selected, the page will reload with a search box that will only search the selected county. In the search box you must type at least two characters before any results will be displayed.
If any of those fields are blank in the displayed list of matching maps, it is because SKLD does not have that information. If the number of imaged pages is empty, it means that SKLD does not have a digital image of that map.
Once a map has been selected from the displayed list, you can click the "Select" button to display the map image. Remember, if the "number of imaged pages" was zero an image will not be displayed, but it will allow you to easily request that map via our Document Request page.
Starting a search with a space can help to limit the number of results when trying to match the beginning of a reception number or Map ID
The following abbreviations appear in map names and will not be expanded in search results. Use these abbreviations when searching to find matching maps.
